National unemployment at 10.2% — see trend charts

Unemployment rose by 0.4% from last month to 10.2%. With an increase of 558,000 there are now 15.7 million persons unemployed. (current unemployment rates may be seen here)

The total U-6 unemployment is now at 17.5%
