Media finally talks about Obama brother sex scandal before inauguration

4/12/09–Today, news agencies out of the UK are finally talking about President Obama’s half brother who was denied a visa into Britian and the  sex scandal which occurred before the inauguration.

The White House had been informed of the sensitive matter.

British immigration denied Samson Obama’s visa when it was discovered he was using falsified documents to enter the country. With the latest database, prints and biometric details discovered he was linked to an earlier incident while visiting the country. Britain opposes the entry of individuals where their presence is not conducive to the public good.

Younger brother Samson Obama, 41,  is one of (some say eleven?) seven half siblings from President Obama’s father.  The younger brother  is the son of Barack Srs first wife, Kezia. Kezia currently lives in England.

Samson, known as Abo,  lives in Kenya and had planned to stop over in the UK to visit family before continuing his trip on to the United States for his half brothers’ inauguration. Upon arrival to the UK, immigration officials discovered he was linked to an alleged sexual assault two months prior.

Last November, Samson had approached a group of girls — one was 13 years old – and followed them into a café. He was asked to leave when he became aggressive, police were called and he was arrested. Prints and biometric details were put in the British database.

Family history: President Obama’s father, Barack Sr. married Kezia (seen in photo above) at 18. When he received his American-sponsored scholarship in economics at the age of 23 he headed for university in Hawaii. He left behind the pregnant Kezia and their baby son.

While in Hawaii studying he met and married his second wife, who was 18, Barack Jrs mother, Ann.

Within two years of his entry to the US, Barack Sr. was accepted at Harvard whereupon he left behind the Barack Jr and his second wife.

While still legally married to Kezia and Ann, Barack Sr. met his future third wife while at Harvard. Ruth was an American-born teacher who is still currently residing in Kenya

Barack Sr. returned to Kenya where he fathered two more children by Kezia. He also fathered two children with Ruth. He worked for the Kenyan government as a Finance Minister.

I thought I heard tell that Obama’s daddy was a goat herder? Now I research and find out that he comes from a well known political family in Africa. Although I’ve made this post short and to the point I’ve inserted ALOT of links should any part of this post pique your interest. It’s ALL interesting reading.

Me wonders what else the media  is withholding from us?

Obama’s mother Stanley Ann, PhD., initially taught English at the American embassy in Indonesia. Later, she would do work as an American anthropologist in Indonesia. She became a leader in microfinancing for women in Indonesia, well before the idea of giving women small loans became a major component of development. Read more here.

As I’m sure you know from my previous posts, BO’s cousin Raila Odinga (of the Luo tribe) is a Kenyan politician. On the last trip to Kenya, Obama helped his cousin campaign for President. Raila finished second in the 2007 Kenyan Presidential race by a few percentage points in a widely disputed election that Raila denounced as “rigged.”  Raila Odinga is currently prime minister of Kenya. Raila Odinga’s older brother Oburu Odinga, is the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Finance. (notice Obama Sr. was finance minister at one time). Read more here.

Cousin Raila’s father was in politics also. Oginga Odinga (full name is Jaramogi Ajuma Oginga Odinga) entered politics in 1957 and by 1964 was vice president of Kenya. (BO’s uncle?) Read more here and here.
